Max Hollenbeck is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from northwest Michigan. He was born in Dubai and spent his formative years in Kenya and Argentina, where he studied music and visual arts. He has toured and recorded with groups including The Wildmans and Mt. Greylock. Now based in Brooklyn, NY, he writes, records and performs original material and is one third of For Opal.
